the average American is attacked by atleast 2,500 ads every 24 hours, this number can double in urban enviorments.

You act like it is not a big deal everywhere we go we are atacked by swarms and swarms of Advertisements in all forms on TV, on the radio, on the internet, billboards etc. I feel like Iam fighting a war against "adware" and other programs that there purpose is to A: Advertise by cracking banner ads and pop-ups and B: Collect personal information and surfing habbits to sell to other companies so they can advertise. I get calls on my home phone always people trying to sell somthing, junk email even junk text messages on my cell phone!

In New York on the streets and walls where there isnt an ominous posting of the "POST NO BILLS" there are layers and layers of advertisments, you can literally peel away at the layers and layers of advertisments people posted on the walls.

After superbowl people were more caught up in the comercials than the game itself.

Is that right?

Your rigth advertsing is good for the enviorment and because of advertising many free services are availible to free of charge. This post was a simple attempt to analyze what effect advertising has on one.

Spartan, these posts are meant to be analytical for the benefit of the viewer. If you feel you must dismiss them with your cliche words than don't comment, as your not helping anyone. This blog brings up topics, and allows anyone with a computer and a phoneline to express there opinion, your not helping anyone with your comments.

Streets ads are mostly fine..what i can't stand are those in-your-face pop up ads on the net..sometimes u crossed them and out pops another ad!

also, i cant stand ads that over promise and under deliver...and catchy ads that distract drivers on the roads. They are potential hazards.

however, there are benefits to TV ads- we get free-to-air channels.

Its not that I have a problem with advertising, I mean right now as I speaking Iam enjoying this service "Blogger" because of advertising. I was simply trying to analyze how much advertising affects us as human beings.
